Copans Marketing & Promotions (CMP) was formed in January 2010, making high-level marketing accessible to everyone. We provide all of the products and services a company will need to build impressions that last. CMP services include promotional products, strategic branding, printing, graphic and website design, trade-show display, signage, and event marketing. The combination of everything we provide is guided by the fact that we care about what we do and, more importantly, what your goals are.
<< Meet Mark
Mark Copans, Owner and Principal, is a fourth-generation Hudson Valley native, who grew up working in his family’s accounting firm until graduating from high school. Even though he always loved seeing the close relationship his father and grandfather had with their clients. accounting was not the right fit. His creative nature lead Mark to attend College of Charleston in South Carolina where he graduated with a degree in Theatrical Design. He then moved to NYC to begin a successful career as a scenic designer. He worked on Broadway shows, theme parks, television, and marketing events. Eventually he took a job for a design firm working primarily on large marketing events for major corporations; an experience that opened his eyes to how to use his creativity to help advance a company’s image and achieve their goals!
Copans Marketing & Promotions was formed soon after Mark's return to the Hudson Valley. He aspires to use his creativity and love of business to help local businesses market themselves more effectively - setting them on the path to increased success.
Mark is known for going above and beyond to help solve client challenges. He is one of the most highly trained Advertising Specialists around. Holding a Bachelor of Advertising Specialty Information degree. Mark is one of only 11 people in New York State to have achieved this level and the only one in the Mid-Hudson region.
Mark is active member of the Hudson Valley community as a whole, holding service as Co-Chair of the Ambassador Committee for the Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce, member of their Business Education Committee and Past Co-Chair of their Expo Committee. He is also on the board and membership committee for Congregation Agudas Israel in Newburgh, on the committee for the American Cancer Society’s Monster Bash, and Regional Coordinator of Professional Networking Powerhouse group, the fastest-growing networking organization in the Hudson Valley.
And in is spare time...this dedicated dad enjoys spending a relaxing night home with the kids!
